Mother becomes an official UK Avaya partner

Mother Technologies has been appointed an official UK Avaya business partner for the North East of Scotland. Already the largest reseller of Siemens phone systems in the North East of Scotland, the addition of Avaya brings more choice to small and medium sized businesses.

Mother’s engineers and sales staff have been formally trained and certified by Avaya and now the company is a partner for the two dominant phone system vendors in the small and medium sized business market. Steve Redhead, managing director of Mother, explained the reason why Mother became an Avaya business partner:

“With our customers regularly requesting that we maintain their telephone systems, as well as their data networks, it made a lot of sense to pursue a formal business relationship with Avaya. Although many businesses are just looking for basic phone system functionality, many are keen to do a lot more.

“Avaya’s IP Office is a very expandable platform that will serve a business from a handful of users to hundreds without changing the chassis. This, the price, and the array of available applications, make it a very attractive offering for small to medium sized businesses.”

More than one million businesses worldwide use Avaya for IP Telephony.
